The once-beautiful realm of Embervale now lies in ruin, its people either vanished or twisted by the very same corruption that threatens to consume all. As Flameborn, you are the last ember of hope for your dying race. Awakened from a long slumber, you find yourself in a world gone mad. The Shroud seeps into every crevice, eroding the land and its inhabitants. Your people's legacy is one of magic, wonder, and destruction. The secrets of their downfall lie hidden beneath the ruins, waiting to be unearthed. Your role is that of a survivor, forced to navigate this treacherous landscape in search of answers. You'll scavenge what remains of civilization, battle twisted creatures born from the Shroud's corrupting influence, and grow strong enough to face the horrors within its depths. As you venture forth, you'll encounter diverse biomes, each with its own unique dangers and secrets.
